Classroom Etiquette

All students will be treated with respect and courtesy, we expect our students to show the same attitude toward their teachers, fellow dancers, directors, and staff.

• Be Prompt
• Accept corrections with a smile and apply 
• No horse playing on premises or in class 
• Be in uniform 
• Hair must pulled up into a bun to avoid and distractions 
• All jewelry must be removed 
• Never stop in the middle of warm up 
• All students are expected to have proper shoes for class, please do not wear any dance anywhere other than the studio
• Anyone wearing Dance Shorts should still wear dance tights
• No bare legs in any class 
• Thank Your instructor
• Most important have confidence

Hygiene

Proper hygiene is very important, please make sure your dancer s grooming properly, applying deodorant and has on clean dancewear and is laundered after each wearing. In dance settings where activities induce sweat, odors can become distracting. Every dancer should have baby wipes and deodorant in their dance bags. 

Rules have been put in place to ensure the environment is safe for students and staff

• Students/Parents should abide by all rules set forth by iBalance Dance Studio LLC and should maintain a professional attitude.
• iBalance Dance Studio has zero tolerance for bullying & stealing
• iBalance Dance Studio bands the use of alcoholic beverages, smoking, illegal drugs, vandalism, theft and firearms. 
• Possession or use of any weapon on iBalance Dance Studio property is not permitted, regardless of a concealed weapon permit. Weapons include, but are not limited to guns, knives, swords. blades, explosives, chemicals that's are used to cause harm to another person, student or parent will be dismissed from dance program without refund.
• NO photography or videotaping allowed in class, without permission.
• No thievery
• No food/candy in class only in entrance area 
• No chewing gum 
• Dispose of your trash properly 
• No defacement of premises 
• Students must arrive to class  10-15 minutes before class to allow time to use the bathroom, dress, remove jewelry, and neatly put hair back.
• No cell phones during class
• Students are allowed to have a bottle of water handy, water breaks will be given 
• If students need to leave before the end of the class, they should notify the director or teacher before class begins
• NO parents/caregivers/siblings in the class area while class is in session. Each and every student needs the teachers full attention during class, there is a waiting area for parents to sit and wait for students to be done scheduled classes.

Parents Etiquette 

iBalance Dance Studio LLC expects all staff, students and parents to behave in a considerate and courteous manner toward each other at all times. Students and Parents who wish to discuss an issue or policy with teacher or director, should be done calmly and respectfully way. If a situation arises when parents or students behave in a aggressive or disrespectful manner will be asked to unenroll from classes without refund.
